Photo A Day 2010 – 04/29/2010
Today was senior portrait day. I think it went well though the weather did NOT cooperate…cloudy…blah. But I got some nice shots so I think he will like them.
Anyway, today I also got the 2 rolls I shot yesterday developed. That’s the nice thing about chromogenic film for black and white. Take it to Walgreens and 1 hour later it’s done! Unlike true B&W that’ll have to be taken to a lab.
These are all off the drugstore CD too. Damn good quality lens, this Leica 50mm f/2.8. I loooove this lens.
Jane turned out great. This has no editing done and this is off of the drug store CD. The eyes are awesome!
This has a tint to it and this is due to using chromogenic film. This means it’s B&W but it’s processed like a regular color film so there’s a tint. Which is almost like some of the post processing I used to do.

Kuma-chan saying good bye from the back of Michele’s backpack. This was converted to pure B&W by me. The princess backpack will go to her niece :)

One of the shots I got from the walk at Bradly Park yesterday. I really like the blur even at f/2.8 with the Leica 50mm. Sexy…

Vines going up the tree. I have a color version of this as well that I may post later. I really like this shot…it’s all about the texture in this one.

The nice thing about these rangefinders? They’re quiet and fast. This, to me, is how every parent feels after a long week at Orlando and specifically Disney. Hang in there dad…hang in there…
