Photo A Day 2010 – 03/04/2010
You know…I was just talking to a friend last night saying that this really isn’t a “Photo” of the day most of the time… I think on average it’s more of a “Photos” of the day. Though I suppose if I made it plural, then the days I only really have one photo I will feel bad. So I hope none of you mind…
Aaaaanyway, on with the photos.
You can click on these for a bigger version.
I finally…FINALLY got a photo of the hawk that perches on top of the light posts along Crocker Road by Crocker Park. I see the hawk all the time but I never had the camera and when I did I would never see him. But on my way to Huntington Beach I finally caught him. Though I did get an odd stare from some drivers wondering what the hell I was taking a photo of with a giant lens…

But despite me being quiet and sneaky, and despite all the cars flying by, he still quickly flew away…but I’m glad he stayed up there long enough for me to park, grab the camera, and get some shots!

Huntington Beach was still frozen and FREEZING.

But every time I go there’s always a couple at the end of the pier…it’s like there’s a sign up sheet or something…I think it’s a different couple each time. Oh well. They make a nice photo.

One day I will get a better shot of this tree…

And finally, I think this is my favorite, with the lady’s polkadot pants and all. I think I’ll just call this “Cleveland Winter” :)

…man…it was freezing at the lake…and I forgot my gloves too…so gripping the metal railing so I won’t kill myself going down the icy stairs with $3000+ worth of camera equipment was not fun… Stupid me…
