They are doing the Japanese version of Deal or No Deal. But instead of $100,000 you get a chance to win 10,000,000yen. Which is about the same thing.
But the twist is, the contestants are all TV celebrities so it makes it more entertaining to watch since you know them. But at the same time, you’re thinking to yourself…why the hell do I WANT them to win money? Only to realize that most of the TV celebs in Japan don’t earn that much money… But still.
Anyway, the interesting part is, the host and the guests are all Japanese but the girls with the suitcases are hot hot HOT HOT white girls. All of them. They all look European though but goddamn… Why don’t I run into these girls in Tokyo huh? …not that I would do anything if I did run into them other than to gawk. But still….
Anyway, got back to Kawasaki after a long day in Kyoto that involved lots of waiting around while L got dressed up as a maiko (an apprentice geisha) and also a ridiculous amount of climbing to get to Kiyomizudera but it was worth it for the unbelievable view. BEAUTIFUL.
But I’m too damn tired to do a formal post of those pictures so it will have to wait. As tomorrow is my last full day here…I’ll try to do it tomorrow. It’s worth the wait though! Sure, you can look at pictures that look better than mine but I was there so these pictures are as close as you’ll get unless you come to Japan next year around this time :)
