Kyoto Preview
Ahhh….Kyoto. Old school Japan at its finest. Beautiful temples. Beautiful gardens. Beautiful castles. And a RIDICULOUS amount of tourists all CRAMMED into buses running at, I swear, 200% capacity as we all try to go see the same damn sites all over the city.
Ugh….
And this is the weekday for godsakes…
I blame that damn movie, Memoirs of a Geisha, where they only had ONE…ONE Japanese actor in the movie in a main role. WHAAAAAAAA????

But anyway, it IS beautiful and very different from Tokyo. The crowd is there. The sites are there. But the architecture is…well…like it’s out of a text book or a guide book.
Too tired to go through all the pics (took around 114 pictures just today) but here are 2 from the 2 places we went to today. Tomorrow we will go to a few more before heading back to Tokyo in the evening.
