Yes. I’ve finally popped some up. A total of 10 sakura-themed pictures. This means if there’s even a taaaaad bit of cherry blossoms in the pic, it was up for consideration.
Unfortunately, the day we went to Ueno Park, it was so ungodly bright, it wrecked havoc with my camera’s sensor and as I was still learning how to handle underexposure so…yeah…it didn’t come out all that well. But I did get other pics that were nice the past few days so here we go.
Um…here’s the worst pic out of the 10. More behind the cut!

So, here’s the crowd and the giant sakura trees in Ueno Park. Note how sunny it is. It was gorgeous! I only wish I could show it to you better.

The flowers here are more white than pink or red. Very pretty.

Moving on to Meiji Jingu Shrine, they didn’t have much in the form of cherry blossoms but I did find one that stood out from the rest.

From here, this little tour moves on to Asakusa. Tons of people there but I did manage to catch a few of these shots that makes it look far far more peaceful and serene than it actually was. (^_^)

And one with the roof of Sensoji in the background.

Oh, and this one since it almost looks like the Buddha is wearing a cherry blossom in his hair :)

The picture before the cut is of Zozo-ji temple in Hamamatsucho. It’s very close to Tokyo Tower and the cherry blossoms there were also quite pretty. A good way to see all of the cherry blossoms was to see it from above once we got to the observation deck.

And finally, here’s a pic that doesn’t really have much to do with cherry blossoms other than that they have them on their windmills.

These are 3 of hundreds of Jizo statues at the Zozo-ji temple. They are dieties to protect children and also travelers too. I really liked them though I think these were there to remember and to help guide the spirits of children who died before their parents so…it’s not really a cheery place…
But anyway, hope you enjoyed the pictures! I will try to be more timely next time :)
