Hmmm...hard to write about me in 3rd person so I will just ramble on here for a bit.
Graduated with a Physics degree. Got a job at a small company as a programmer. Employee #36 I think. Over the years the small company has become a big company with over 1000 employees as of the end of 2010 and I now do more international business than programming. Actually I haven't programmed in 4 years. Very sad...
However, the lack of a creative outlet (and trust me, programming is just as creative as it can be quantitative) drew me back to photography. I always enjoyed it. But soon this filled the void that programming left and it has become a major focal point in my life. This blog is a good indication of my evolution.
To further practice and become "better" if nothing else, at least in my own eyes, I started a Photo A Day project in 2009. I have since completed 2 years and am on my 3rd here in 2011. I am still searching for my own "style" but somehow I have a feeling I will never be nailed down. Consequently you will see everything from Portraits to Landscapes, HDR to B&W, digital photos to film. Even 35mm versus medium format. Too much to shoot! Too much fun to be had.
So, for anyone reading this, thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I hope you enjoyed looking at my work! And if you did (or even if you didn't) drop me a line if you want.
