Kicking yourself back into workmode
Just do what I did tonight. 2+ hour conference call with our Japanese partners.

At least it was productive. Would hate it if it was just babbling. Lots to discuss. Lots to do. Can’t really stay in vacation mode you know?

It’s been over a month since I’ve been back. Hard to believe since I’ve been so busy since I left. Crazy busy. Thanksgiving is going to be on me in a flash.
Oh, and I finally got around to installing Mozilla’s Thunderbird too. Goodbye Eudora. *sniff*. It was a fun 12 years. Started using it back in 1994 and was faithful ever since…but it was starting to get a bit slooow and I heard good things about Thunderbird so I decided to give it a shot. I actually have pretty much all the mail I ever got since I got my first e-mail address at Case. Yup. Every single one (well…barring most of the spam). Did I ever meantion I’m a pack rat? So far so good. Reminds me of Outlook actually. Gotta tweak some options to see if I’ll keep using it.
Most of my e-mails go out from work or from my gmail account now anyway. But I still have all of my responses from LJ going to my main ISP’s account. Don’t know why. It’s kinda like how I still have a land line. I just don’t trust it 100%. Something to be said about having all your e-mail on a hard drive as opposed to on some anonymous server online. Right???
Well…time to relax for the first time tonight at 10:42pm. *sigh*….
