Tim’s Ramblings

Vacation time is sloooowly coming to an end. By the same time tomorrow I’ll be back in Cleveland thinking about all the stuff I’ll have to do back at the office on Tuesday.

Most everyone has left. Only 3 of us left now, me, G and J. L and GW left earlier around 11:30 and then E left around 1:20 while M and I went to the pool for the last time (at least for her…I suppose I can go tomorrow if I REALLY wanted to). M then left the house around 6:00 as we drove her to the airport. Her plane should be pulling out of the gate right about now.

My back is better. During the day my back was so good it was like nothing happened. Right now it’s getting a bit sore again. I think I’m going to take an advil in another few hours. Ugh. I hope nothing is wrong….otherwise 13 hours on a plane next week is going to blow.

Anyway, as most people that came with me here read this, thanks for coming out guys! I really really do appreciate it. My first vacation of the year that I desperately needed so it was nice to see friends that I don’t get to see often. Especially M and E. I miss you guys and it’s good to see you in person. It’s sad that I don’t get to see you guys as much as I’d want to. But it was a fun few days so, thank you!!!!

Tonight we’re just relaxing. Watching TV, eating leftovers, and…I hate to use the term “chillaxing” (do people even use that word anymore or am I showing my age?) but yeah…that’s what we’re doing. Tomorrow we’ll take it easy in the morning, maybe go out to lunch, and then by about 2 or 2:15pm we’ll be out the door on the way home. I already checked in so I should be ready to go. Never flew US Airways before so we’ll see how it is. Got only 45 minutes in Charleston but M tells me it’s not bad. I hope not….

Overall, despite my kinda negative post from yesterday while sitting on my ass due to back pain while everyone was living it up in Epcot (grrr), I had a good time here. Kennedy Space Center was a lot of fun as was the beach. And hanging out with friends was worth the trip. I hope it was worth it for everyone else too. Oh, the house being really nice helped as well. It was really something I needed. Now I have 3 weeks of work until my next week long vacation in San Francisco. Fun (^_^)! At this point, my breaks are what will keep me going on some of these long trips coming up.
