Off to Mouseville USA
Otherwise known as the Disney Industrial Complex.
Wooo.
*ahem* but anyway, yup…in the lounge at the airport killing time on the way to Disney World in Orlando. All my plane woes has been resolved and all is well. I got my ticket, I got first class, and in a few short hours, I’ll be back for the 4th year in a row at the Orlando International Airport.
Still have some logistics to work out once there but screw it. This is my first vacation that I have taken all year. The last vacation I took was last X-mas and the last trip I took for fun (and no…flying to Japan every month for work is not ‘fun’) was almost exactly a year ago when I went to Vegas with mom. *sigh*…time flies.
But anyway, yeah…this is my very first vacation this year and I need it in a really bad way. We have the house ’till Monday when I fly out. Of course I have my laptop with me, my blackberry with me and thus my cel phone with me and the house that we’re staying in is wired up for internet and since it’s the company house people have the house phone number too…but still…I’m not in the office and people know I’m on vacation…which is saying alot.
Of course there are a few issues for work that needs to be worked out and I know I have a vendor license agreement coming sometime this week that I’ll have to review and send over to legal…but at least I can stop dealing with the day to day stuff…at least for a bit.
No idea what the trip will be like. Not a big Magic Kingdom fan myself….I’ll go there again if I ever have kids. But there is a nighttime festivities there that we may go to. Would like to go to Epcot since I’ve missed that the past 3 years. Other than that….hm…no plans.
The house in Celebration Village is supposed to be huuuuuuuuuuuge. Bigger than the Naples house for anyone that has heard me talk about it in the past. So I’m looking forward to that. The entire house is furnished by Crate & Barrel too I think. Gonna be like living in a showroom :)
Anyway, I’ll be updating periodically. But in the meantime, hope everyone has a good week.
