Tokyo hotties

Lots of walking today. Lots of shopping and such.

But enough of that. I’ll write about that later.

This post concerns the hotties of Tokyo! (^_^)

For the first time in a week or so, we were at some tourist spots so there were plenty of people from Europe and the US. Mmmm…. Sure there are tons and TONS of cute Japanese girls…but I admit….I like the white girls more. *sigh*…. And of course, the longer I stay here in Japan, the more the occasional white girls I see seem hotter and hotter and hotter.

Ah well.

But anyway, for this post, I have two very specific examples. One western and one Japanese.

First, while in Akihabara, we noticed a crowd gathered around so I we went to take a look. To my pleasant surprise, the string trio, Rush, was performing again. You may remember them when I posted about them around February when I first ran into them playing Cowboy Bebop. It’s 3 women playing a violin, viola, and cello to some popular music. They’re really good actually and put on a good show.

Here’s their web page: http://www.bowwownet.co.jp/rush

Anyway, I was reminded once again how cute the women were. I mean, they can really play AND they’re cute. Come on…you’d think they’ll no longer have to promote themselves on the street! But then again, I guess they gotta do what they gotta do. Among the huge crowd, there were actually little kids there too and it seems they were students of some of the players. I guess, naturally, as a day job, they teach their instruments. :)

Here they are rocking out! Oh, and if you click on the picture, you’ll get see a movie. It’s about 7MB in size.

But even while playing and especially after, the cellist kept catching my eye. The other 2 women playing violin and viola were cute, but the cellist was hot. And as you can see from the photo above and watching the movie, the way she stood in the middle just rocking out on the cello was so damn cool. I dunno…just something about her made me go “…wow…”

Just something about her made me fall in love. Of course, K, who was with me agreed :)

Afterwards we went to Harajuku and the Meiji Jingu Shrine so he can pick up some charms. But on the way back, we saw all the girls as usual in all different costumes but one girl kept catching my eye. Mainly because she was CUTE. I passed her by though so I didn’t really plan on going back but K kept insisting that I at least get a pictures so we headed back. He wanted to take a picture with me in it but I said “no”. She was cute. Really cute. And I didn’t need my sweaty ass mug in the picture next to hers.

But we did end up finding her and I managed to get her to agree to a picture. K ended up taking a picture with her but I will post that later. Anyway, here she is.

Yup, she’s not Japanese. I spoke to her for a bit and we found out that she was in fact from Finland! She was on vacation here and this was her 3rd week already with only a week left to go. She spoke good English and seemed like a nice girl. A nice girl that’s gotten caught up in the whole Gothic Lolita thing to the extreme.

We forgot to ask where she was staying or if she was alone… *awww*… But what a cutie…dreadlocks, lip ring, and all.

*ahem*…so yup, there you go. 2 examples of girls that I think were hot. If nothing else, it made walking around all day in the heat somewhat more bearable.
