Waiting in the President’s Club in Newark for my flight to Tokyo. Wooo.

Kinda tired. Got up at 5 for this trip though I managed to be in bed by 12 so it wasn’t too bad. Had to take care of our Japanese guests while they were in the US so I had little time to actually pack. Good thing I’m getting pretty good at the whole packing thing.
Unfortunately when I got to the Cleveland Airport, when my ticket was printed, I got the dreaded 4 S’s on the lower right….goddammit. I got randomly selected to get searched. *sigh*
So I got padded down and then the poor dude had to swab every single electronic equipment I have in my backpack…ha. Poor guy. I have a PSP, Nintendo DS, MP3 player, Bose headphones, digital camera, laptop, cordless mouse, all the power cords for the stuff listed, etc… I heard him going “more things just keep popping out of other pockets…” to the guard next to him. Oh well.
Well, time to pack up and hit up the bathroom before heading to the gate. Maybe I can find a place that sells a few of those Cliff bars. They’re a nice alternative to crappy ass airline food…

Seems odd to me that you need to fly to Newark (east) to go to Tokyo (west). it also seems odd that you fly west to get to the Far East…but its late and i am tired. I hope that you landed safely and are happily settled!
